Research Summary

This project targets Early Career Researchers (ECRs) from universities across Türkiye working in interdisciplinary gender studies.

Through two workshops and a mentoring scheme, 20-25 ECRs will be supported to:

    1. Improve their academic writing for publications and grant applications;
    2. Develop sustainable practices to manage stress during writing and rewriting;
    3. Expand their professional networks with peers and relevant academic journals and publishers.

Participants will attend two in-person workshops, taking place at the British Institute at Ankara on 23-24 October 2025 and 23-24 March 2026, where they will gain insight into writing for publication and applying for grants with editors of leading journals and publishers of academic monographs. Participants will also be assigned a mentor who will support them to write an article suitable for publication in a leading international academic journal.

NEW: Second series of workshops concluded! First two workshops kick off! [Archived] Call for Participants: deadline 13th September 2025
