The BIAA invites you on a 5-day guided hiking tour, featuring the highlights of the Pisidia Heritage Trail. You will be passing through stunning landscapes and off-the-beaten-track archaeological sites including Sia, Kremna, Melli and Selge.
Following the success of the two previous tours in 2023, the BIAA is delighted to once again partner with Equinox Travel to offer this third trip. The tour, which is ideal for outdoor lovers interested in archaeology, nature and hiking along ancient trails, will take place from 1st – 5th May 2024.

Tour Schedule
| Wednesday 1 May (Day 1): Arrival Sia – Kocain / Milyas Total walk approximately 12 km / 8 hours |
Arrive at Antalya airport by 10:00 am at the latest and meet with your guide. Today we will walk the ancient trail from Sia to the prehistoric Kocain Cave. We will visit Sia in the morning and walk the beautiful trail in the afternoon. Milyos Hotel & Bungalows. (B/L/D) |
| Thursday 2 May (Day 2): Kremna – Sagalassos Total walk approximately 17 km / 8 hours |
Today we will walk the beautiful trail and forest roads from Kremna towards Sagalassos. Visit Kremna and walk from Kremna following the ancient trail towards Sagalassos. Dinner and overnight Sagalassos Lodge. (B/L/D) |
| Friday 3 May (Day 3): Kapıkaya – Kovada Lake National Park / Eğirdir Total walk approximately 6 km / 5 hours |
Today we will visit the magnificent ancient city at Kapıkaya. From Kapıkaya we will walk to the Kovada Lake National Park. Drive to Eğirdir. Dinner and overnight Egirdir. (B/L) |
| Saturday 4 May (Day 4): Delisarnıç – Çaltepe Total walk approximately 8 km / 5 hours |
Today we will drive to Delisarnıç and take the ancient trail from Delisarnıç to Çaltepe. We will follow the ancient trails for most of the time during this hike. Dinner and overnight at Bungalows Erdinç Pension or Perge. (B/L/D) |
| Sunday 5 May (Day 5): Delisarnıç – Selge / Departure Total walk approximately 8 km / 5 hours |
Today we will walk towards Selge and complete the ancient trail. Visit Selge ancient city and lunch at Selge. Arrive to Antalya airport around 19:00. (B/L) |

The Pisidia Heritage Trail is a 350km archaeology-themed hiking route that connects 12 ancient cities in Southwest Turkey along the magnificent Taurus Mountains.

Connecting three major archaeological sites of Pisidia – Termessos in the west, Sagalassos in the north and Selge in the east – the trail almost forms a triangle on the map. Most of the sites along the trail were surveyed by archaeologists affiliated with the British Institute at Ankara. The trail is designed to attract hikers, nature lovers and adventurers in general, as well as to increase economic benefits for the communities who live by these ruins.
