An Anatolian Studies Virtual Seminar with James F. Osborne, Michele Massa, Fatma Şahin, Hüseyin Erpehlivan and Christoph Bachhuber. 

Summary of Event:

The exploration of the archaeological site of Türkmen-Karahöyük in the Konya Plain has uncovered a previously unknown Iron Age capital city in the western region of Tabal. Inscriptions indicate that this city was the royal seat of King Hartapu, long known from the enigmatic monuments of nearby Kızıldağ and Karadağ.
