Janine Su is a social anthropologist whose research interests centre around themes of socio-spatial mobility and boundary transgression with respect to contemporary masculinities in Türkiye. Her doctoral dissertation was undertaken at the University College London Department of Anthropology and based on longitudinal ethnographic research in Istanbul’s Old City. She has also published in collections on the anthropology of risk and of the Mediterranean. In addition, she has over 15 years of experience editing social science and humanities scholarship, as well as a background in photography and graphic design.
