Aphrodisias: talk by Professor Wilson

Professor Andrew Wilson,  Professor of the Archaeology of the Roman Empire at Oxford University and in charge of excavations at the so-called South Agora of Aphrodisias, has very kindly agreed to give an update on developments at the South Agora and in his researches.

The talk will be at Daunt Books, 83 Marylebone High Street, London W1U 4QW, at 6.30 for 7 pm on Monday 28 November. A glass of wine will be served beforehand and recent books by Professor Wilson and Professor R.R.R. Smith will be on sale. The proceedings should finish by 8.15 pm.

To cover expenses, and to make a contribution towards the work at Aphrodisias, attendance will be £15 per person. You can either send a cheque made out to Friends of Aphrodisias Trust to me at the address below, bring it on the day or make a transfer to the Trust's account with C.
