Turkish Ministry of Culture - Catalhoyuk model for Heritage Site Management Planning in Turkey |
|
The
Çatalhöyük Project, led by Professor Ian Hodder, has produced a Site Management
Plan that the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism has used as the model for
a new regulation which requires all major sites in Turkey to develop site
management plans. The Ministry has also used the Çatalhöyük model as the basis
for guidelines for the Site Management Plans needed for UNESCO nominated sites.
