From Trebizond to Limni was a commemorative event in honour of the late Prof. Anthony Bryer, held at ANAMED (Koç University, Istanbul) on March 31st, 2017.

From Trebizond to Limni is a commemorative event in honour of the late Prof. Anthony Bryer, to be held at ANAMED (Koç University, Istanbul)on March 31st, 2017. The event is co-organized by the BIAA, and Koç University's GABAM and the Suna Kirac Library. The speakers will each treat different aspects of Bryer.

- Chris Harris, Bryer, his collection, his work and his influence in Trabzon.

- Nikos Kontogiannis, Byzantine castles and Bryer’s work outside Pontos.

- Zeynep Türkyılmaz, Bryer's influence on Ottoman studies.

- Margaret Mullett, Bryer’s Byzantine scholarship.

The papers will be delivered in English, with simultaneous translation to Turkish. The event will conclude with a visit to the library for viewing the ephemera from donated works, simultaneous with a small reception.
